PREMIUM HELICOPTER SERVICE

We offer your clients a range of helicopter services with an opportunity to discover Mauritius in a truly original way - an option that saves time and makes for an unforgettable experience!

Air Mauritius is the only airline in the UK to provide your clients with a range of Helicopter services to discover Mauritius in a truly original way and make their trip an unforgettable experience.

Our crew will greet customers upon arrival at SSR International Airport and provide with a personalized service during check-in.

Air Mauritius passengers will board on one of our Bell Jet Ranger helicopters equipped with 4 passenger seats. Throughout the flight, our pilots - trained in the safety standards of Air Mauritius - will give an overview of Mauritius as customers fly over amazing landscapes and get to know the country's topography and contours “en route” to their destination.

Service options include: 

  • HELI-LUNCH: a one hour sightseeing tour combined with two-hour stop for lunch at a restaurant/hotel which has a helipad.
  • HELI-GOLF: a breathtaking bird's eye view of the most beautiful golf courses in Mauritius and its surroundings.
  • HELI-LOUNGE: experience a memorable helicopter tour or a premium airport transfer. Enjoy the unrivalled luxury of our Amedee Maingard Lounge from Mauritius.
  • UNDERWATER WATERFALL: discover Mauritius scenic underwater waterfall.
  • AERIAL FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY: our helicopters can be rented for aerial filming or photography.
  • SIGHT-SEEING TOUR: an aerial view of Mauritius with magnificent lagoons, pristine coastline, undulating sugar cane fields and many more spectacular views. Tours last between 15minutes to 1hour with various itinerary based on flight duration, helipad locations

CHAMPAGNE SERVICE AVAILABLE IN ECONOMY CLASS (ON PRE-ORDER)

Air Mauritius offers a Prepaid Champagne Service onboard its flights operating to and from London (LHR) and Paris (CDG) for passengers travelling in Economy class.

Produced by Edouard Leroy and Jules Duval in the 19th century, Duval-Leroy is one of the finest champagnes of Vertus, a village in the Côte des Blancs county in the Champagne region.

The champagne Duval-Leroy Brut Reserve in bottles of 20cl, priced at Euros 15 (approx. 13GBP) will be served on board as pre-ordered.

How to book

Booking is easy and already available through your GDS under service code CPML

Passengers can book and pay for this service in the same way as requests are made for any of the Air Mauritius Ancillary Services.

Terms and conditions

  • Service available on London and Paris flights operated by Air Mauritius, to MK-ticketed customers only.
  • Pre-order is accepted up to 48 hours prior to the flight.
  • A maximum of 1 bottle for one person.
  • The service is available for adults only. MK reserves the right not to serve the champagne to under-age passengers.
  • The bottle will be opened and served on board. 

 

CHAUFFEUR TRANSFER (AVAILABLE ONLY IN THE UK)

Our exclusive service will ensure that MK passengers have a seamless journey with us from start to finish. We’ll collect your customers from their home and we’ll be there to bring them back home on their return.

Eligibility:

  • Which customers are eligible for this offer? 

This offer is open to Air Mauritius passengers residing in the UK.

  • What distance is covered for the complimentary chauffeur drive service?

This service is valid for any journeys in the UK.

  • What time should passengers book their transportation? 

When booking our chauffeur transfers, please remind passengers to allow sufficient time to ensure they arrive at the airport in good time to board their flight. Our online check-in service is available from 30hours up to 2hours, giving our customers peace of mind before boarding Air Mauritius flight.

  • Where will the vehicle drop off and pick up customers at Heathrow Terminal 4?

Heathrow Airport operator is very strict regarding the picking up of passengers from Heathrow. Pickups from Terminal 4 are from the short-stay car park. From the arrivals-hall passengers must proceed outside and cross the road into the car park opposite. Our cars will be waiting in the first lane by the vending machines.

NOTE: We regret that we cannot offer transfers between respective airport terminal.

KESTRELFLYER

Kestrelflyer is our airline customer loyalty programme and our way of saying thank you for flying with us. Named after the indigenous Mauritian kestrel, the Kestrelflyer airline loyalty programme allows your customers to accumulate miles and earn a host of privileges every time they use Air Mauritius.

How it works
When your customers join our programme, they receive the Kestrelflyer Red membership status and a unique membership number. This opens they account and allows them to accumulate miles every time they fly on Air Mauritius.

Depending on the number of miles they accumulate, they’ll enjoy numerous benefits such as free tickets, upgrades, additional baggage allowance and more. Upon accumulating 24,000 qualifying miles within a 36-month period, they’ll receive the Kestrelflyer Silver Card – and when they have accumulated 100,000 qualifying miles within a 36-month period, they’ll receive the Kestrelflyer Gold Card.

FREE STOPOVER IN MAURITIUS UP TO 2NIGHTS (*WHEN FLIGHTS DONT CONNECT)

Air Mauritius offers a generous Stopover Package (STPC) for up to two complimentary nights including accommodation, meals and airport transfers to passengers whose flights do not connect (Terms & Conditions Apply) in Mauritius as part of their journey. 

Depending on the connectivity, Air Mauritius will pay for customers to spend a night or two on the beautiful island of Mauritius either on a bed-and-breakfast or half board basis.

Mauritius is the perfect exotic stopover option and a great way to enjoy seamless connectivity for customers on their way to/from beyond Mauritius, Africa, Asia, India and Australia.

Eligibility

  • Valid only for passengers booked on MK ticketed flights
  • Valid only for beyond Mauritius itineraries

 

EXIT SEATS WITH EXTRA LEGROOM

Our exit row seats give your customers more legroom to stretch out on our services. A limited number of these seats are available in our Economy Class cabins on the A350, A340 and A330 aircraft.

For a fee, your clients can be amongst the privileged few in the cabin to benefit for additional comfort. We offer them on a first-come first-served basis, subject to availability (Terms and Conditions Apply).

 

FREE SPECIAL MEALS AND MEDICAL MEALS REQUEST

Mauritian cuisine is a blend of healthy gourmet dining with the island’s legendary harmony of different world cultures, which we call cooking without borders. We are among the few who have a way to blend elements from diverse cuisine into dishes that are inspired, and appealing.

Special meals to meet specific dietary, religious and medical requirements (including vegetarian meals) can be offered to your customers who cannot have the standard featured menu. Special meals and Medical meals should be ordered at booking time at least 24 hours before departure while a 48 hours advance notice is required for other meals.

 

ONLINE CHECK-IN 

Air Mauritius has introduced a new convenient service that allows customers to check-in from any location and choose their seat. Internet Check In helps avoid queues at the airport. Passengers may select their seat and print out their boarding pass anytime from 24 hours up to 3 hours before the flight's departure.

All our passengers can choose their seats when booking their flights on Air Mauritius and we will do our best to ensure that your customers get their selected seats. However, seats are subject to availability on a first come first served basis. For operational reason, we may have to reassign passengers’ seats without prior notice. If this happens we seek your cooperation for a smooth transition.

Please note, travel agents must not check-in on behalf of the travelling customers. This is strictly forbidden as this contravenes CAA Security Regulations.
