Air Canada named Best Airline in North America at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards

Air Canada are proud to be named the Best Airline in North America at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards and ranked 19th in the World’s Top 100 Airlines for 2025, up 10 spots from 2024. Presented at the Paris Air Show, the Skytrax awards, which are based on passenger satisfaction surveys of approximately 22 million global travellers, also recognised Air Canada in several other categories, including:

Air Canada earns Five Star Global Airline Award at APEX 2026 Awards

For the sixth consecutive year, Air Canada is proud to receive a Five Star Global Airline Award at the recent Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) 2026 Awards. Air Canada’s onboard Wi-Fi sponsored by Bell, which is complimentary for Aeroplan members, was ranked as the Best Inflight Connectivity. The award is based on votes from over one million customers.

The APEX Five Star and Four Star Airline Awards stand as the only global awards entirely based on neutral, third-party passenger feedback and insights gathered through APEX’s partnership with TripIt from Concur, the world’s most used travel-organizing app.

This is the sixth time in seven years that Air Canada has been awarded an APEX Five Star rating, which is based on customer feedback.

The annual awards recognize the top industry suppliers including destinations, hotels, cruise lines, airlines, tour operators and more. Nominees are decided by the Travvy Awards editorial team with the winners voted on by travel advisors.

This award marks the third consecutive year that Air Canada has been recognized by industry leaders and travel agencies from around the U.S. at the Travvy Awards.

Air Canada has recently been named the World’s Leading Airline to North America at the World Travel Awards, reflecting the airline’s ongoing commitment to excellence.

The announcement took place at the Grand Final Gala Ceremony held at Madeira, Portugal on Nov. 24, 2024, attended by the elite of global tourism.
