OTT – United Airlines Prize Draw Terms and Conditions - Sponsored by United Airlines, Inc. ("Sponsor")
To enter:
1. Complete the United Airlines OTT course: https://www.onlinetraveltraining.com/free-courses/providers/united-uk by Sunday 31st May 2026. No purchase necessary, both are free of charge).
2. One additional entry may be gained if the participant joins the OTT webinar on 26th February 2026 at 11am and successfully answers the questions at the end of the webinar by emailing United with the instructions provided the by 5pm the same day (26th February 2026). Any entries received after this time will not be valid.

1. Entry period:
a. All entries must be received between 9am GMT on Monday 23rd February 2026 and Sunday 31st May 2026 6pm GMT (UK residents, 18 and over only). (“Entry Period”).
2. Limits on entry:
a. Each entrant (“Entrant”) must meet the requirements of these Terms and Conditions to be eligible to win.
b. Incomplete, unreadable, or unintelligible entries will be disqualified.
c. The winner of the Competition will be notified by email by the Sponsor within one (1) business day after the random selection.
d. Entrants may submit only one (1) entry during the Entry Period.
e. Entrants are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions when entering the Contest.
3. Prize:
a. The Prize to be awarded from the Contest is a single prize consisting of two (2) return flights in Economy class from the UK (airports served by United) to any of the following destinations: Chicago (ORD), Denver (DEN), Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), Newark/New York (EWR), San Francisco (SFO) and Washington D.C. (IAD), served by United Airlines.
b. The Prize does not include any accommodation, transportation (such as travel to and from the relevant airport and/or home), nor any food or drink (other than any complimentary in-flight food and drink that may be included with the relevant Economy ticket).
c. There can be no alternative awards, cash or otherwise. The Prize is subject to availability, is non-transferable, non-redeemable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
4. Eligibility:
a. The Contest is open to legal residents of United Kingdom, age 18 or older, who have an active email account and internet access as of the beginning of the Entry Period.
b. Entrants must have a valid passport and a valid ESTA or Visa which can be used for travel to the United States and continues to be valid for 6 months beyond the period of the intended stay in the United States.
c. It is the responsibility of the Entrant to check that they can comply with requirements for entry into the United States and the UK.
d. Employees of Sponsor, the U.S. Embassy, or other government agencies and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
5. Winner Selection:
a. All eligible contest entries meeting the requirements of these Terms and Conditions (noting the above-mentioned limit to one entry per Entrant) will be eligible to win in a random selection to be held on or around 5 days after the deadline of the Entry Period at Sponsor’s UK offices located at World Business Centre 1, Newall Road, London Heathrow Airport, TW6 2FA, UK.
b. Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. There will be no limit on the number of entries from different entrants that will be accepted by the Sponsor.
c. Entrant have the option to enroll in MileagePlus as part of the prize draw, however enrollment is optional and is not required. This does not affect the likelihood of being selected as the winner.
6. Notification of Winner:
a. Potential winner will be notified by email within fourteen (14) business day after the random selection.
b. Potential winner may be required to provide proof of identity (e.g., a passport, driver’s license) within five (5) business days of being notified.
c. If a selected winner cannot be contacted via email including if any email notifications are returned as undeliverable, or the selected winner is ineligible, or fails to claim a Prize within 7 days of being notified via email, the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be determined by the same random selection method from the eligible entries received.
d. Sponsor anticipates providing the Prize certificate to the winner within 6 weeks of the closure of the Contest.
e. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen Prize.
7. Privacy:
a. Any personal information supplied by you to Sponsor will be subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy posted at: united.com/privacy, which sets out the terms on which Sponsor shall process any personal data the Sponsor collects from each Entrant.
b. By entering the Contest, the Entrant acknowledges that the processing is necessary in order to fulfil the Sponsor's obligations to the Entrant in respect of this Contest and to enable the Entrant to enter the Contest and claim any prize he/she may win.
c. Entrant agrees to the Sponsor processing the Entrant's personal data for the purpose of promoting and/or facilitating the Contest. Processing by the Sponsor for promoting and/or facilitating the Contest will be on the basis of legitimate interests.
8. General Rules:
a. By entering the Contest, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
b. Entrant warrants that all personal data provided by him/her for the purpose of the Contest is accurate.
c. The contest is offered by United Airlines, Inc., World Business Centre 1, Newall Road, London Heathrow Airport, TW6 2FA, UK, and Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, delayed, damaged, postage-due, incomplete, illegible, or misdirected entries, responses, or other correspondence, whether by email, postal mail or otherwise, or for theft or destruction or unauthorized access or alterations of entry materials, phone, electrical, network, computer, hardware, software program or transmission malfunctions, failures or difficulties.
d. Sponsor’s decisions in all respects relative to the Contest are final.
e. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Contest in whole or in part, in the event of fraud, technical or other difficulties or if the integrity of the Contest is compromised, without liability to the Sponsor, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect on entrants to avoid undue disappointment.
f. Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is not received by potential winner for any reason.
g. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any winner if the winner is ineligible under these Terms and Conditions.
h. Sponsor shall not be liable to the Entrant for any liability in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any loss of business, revenue or profits, anticipated savings or wasted expenditure, loss or damage of or to personal equipment belonging to Entrant or any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever arising out of Entrant taking part in the Contest or any other matter arising under these Terms and Conditions.
i. Without limiting the foregoing, Sponsor shall not be liable for any actions of any third parties unless otherwise expressly set forth herein.
9. Release of Liability:
a. By participating in the Contest, Entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, and agents (including advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies) from and against any and all liability, claim, or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any Prize, including, but not limited to:
i. any condition caused by events beyond Sponsor’s control that may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted;
ii. unauthorised human intervention in the Contest;
iii. technical or printing errors in any materials associated with the Contest;
iv. lost, late, postage-due, misdirected or undeliverable mail or email;
v. errors in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries;
vi. in so far as it is permitted by law, injury or damage (including compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential, or otherwise) which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in the Contest or receipt of use of any Prize; and
vii. damage to property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in the Contest or receipt of use of any Prize.
b. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the Sponsor's liability when prohibited by applicable law.
10. Additional Conditions:
a. Except where prohibited by law, by accepting any Prize, the winner agrees to the Sponsor and its administrators using his/her name, photograph, location (for example ‘Jane from London’) and winning entry for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation on the Sponsor's website and social media pages for a period of 24 months after the Contest has closed.
b. All entries become property of Sponsor and none will be acknowledged or returned.
11. Disputes:
a. Except where prohibited by law, Entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Contest, any Prize awarded, the administration of the Contest, or the determination of the winner, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UK.
b. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions, Entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with UK law.
c. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures and other statements contained in any Contest materials or website and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail and control.
d. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between or within these Terms and Conditions, it shall be within Sponsor’s sole discretion to determine the resolution of such a discrepancy.
12. Sponsor's Address:

13. Severability:
a. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
ER1181 Tickets – Terms and Conditions of Use
1. The certificate is valid for a pair of roundtrip ticket(s) in Economy Class from the UK to the USA to the following destinations: Chicago (ORD), Denver (DEN), Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), Newark/New York (EWR), San Francisco (SFO) and Washington D.C. (IAD) from Thursday 4th June 2026.
2. Offer valid only on flights operated by United or operated by other airlines and branded “United Express”. Otherwise, it is not valid on flights operated by other airlines, such as United-Marketed code share and Star Alliance flights.
3. Itinerary must be a published fare routing.
4. All travel must be completed by 1st June 2027. Extension of the expiration date is not permitted under any circumstances.
5. Open jaws are permitted.
6. Stopovers and circle trip combinations are not permitted.
7. Open tickets are not permitted.
8. United reserves the right to limit the number of seats available for travel in conjunction with this offer.
9. MileagePlus miles will not be awarded.
10. Space-available upgrade certificates may be used on day of departure provided all terms of the upgrade are met. All MileagePlus upgrade types (including Regional and Global Premier Upgrades) are not permitted. Purchased upgrades are permitted subject to availability.
11. This certificate may not be used in conjunction with any other award, discount or offer. Customer will be required to provide positive identification.
12. This offer is subject to any government approval and is invalid where prohibited by law.
13. This certificate is nontransferable and is void if sold or exchanged for compensation. If this certificate is purchased, it is subject to confiscation and will not be accepted for travel.
14. In the event of flight irregularity, alternate travel will be provided in the indicated class of service (subject to availability) only on United flights. United assumes no responsibility for any expenses, or tax liability in conjunction with the use of this offer and associated ticket(s) including, but not limited to expenses for accommodations, food or circumstances beyond the control of United.
15. If you choose to ticket by calling United Reservations, please note that there will be a Reservation Ticketing Service Fee. Please advise the agent that you will be using an electronic ER1181 authorization (reference: GG Promo EER). Be prepared to provide the agent the promotion code, certificate PIN, class and travel area application listed under the authorization details.
17. Not eligible for denied boarding compensation.
18. Should you need to reissue, refund or void a ticket after you’ve redeemed your PIN credit(s), you will not receive a redeposit of the redeemed PIN credit(s).
19. United reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this offer without prior notice.
20. United’s Contract of Carriage will be applicable to all travel undertaken, hereby.
